Team-Based Prizes

• First Place: Up to four tickets to GopherCon 2027 and $400 USD cash.
• Second Place: Up to four full-day workshop passes to GopherCon 2027 and $200 USD cash
• Third Place: Up to four half-day workshop passes to GopherCon 2027 and $100 USD cash

The winning teams are determined as the three teams which have the highest score at the close of the competition. In the event of a tie, number of challenges solved will be utilized as a tiebreaker.

High Score Prizes

For each day of the competition, the player with the highest individual score for that day will receive a prize. For clarity, those timelines are:

• Tuesday August 4th 08:00 Pacifc -> Tuesday August 4th 16:00 Pacific
• Tuesday August 4th 16:01 Pacific -> Wednesday August 5th 16:00 Pacific
• Wednesday August 5th 16:01 Pacific -> Thursday August 6th 14:00 Pacific

Individual Accolades and Achievements

We have a set of five Individual Accolades, these are unique awards that players can acquire by meeting certain achievements throughout the course of the competition. These achievements will need to be revealed and discovered throughout the competition. Each individual achievement award awards one mechanical keyboard, and one half-day workshop pass to GopherCon 2027.

In addition, we have a number of Achievements. Similarly to Achievements in video games, these achievements are available to one and all to complete, and will provide a small number of bonus points when you accomplish them.

Participation Prizes

Participation prizes will be awarded at various times throughout the competition, to any competitor who has recently completed a challenge.
