Prizes

We are proud to present the following prizes for the GopherCon 2024 Challenge Series.

Prize Distribution

Please note that prizes are being presented at the Closing Party on Wednesday, July 10th. For team-based prizes, at least one member of the winning team must be present to claim the prizes. If no member of the team is present, the team will be removed from their placement and team placements adjusted accordingly.
For individual prizes, the winner must be present to claim the prize. If the winner is not present, they will be removed from their placement and other placements adjusted accordingly.

First Place

These prizes are provided to the team which has scored the most points overall in the competition:

• Four conference passes to GopherCon 2025
• $400 Cash Prize

Second Place

These prizes are provided to the team which has scored the second most points overall in the competition:

• Four MechanicalKeyboards.com Gift Certificates, in the amount of $150 each
• $200 Cash Prize

Third Place

These prizes are provided to the team which has score the third most points overall in the competition:

• Four copies of Samantha Coyle's "Go Programming: From Beginner To Professional"
• $100 Cash Prize

Individual Achievement

Each winner of an Individual Achievement will receive the following:

• One Gift Certificate to Google Cloud Platform, in the amount of $100
• One Gift Certificate to 2600 Magazine, providing a One Year Subscription

Participation Prizes

Any player who has completed at least one challenge during the conference is eligible to be randomly selected to pick an available prize. Prize examples include:

• One Workshop Pass to GopherCon 2025
• One copy of Red Team Field Manual
• One copy of Blue Team Field Manual
• One copy of Purple Team Field Manual
• One physical copy of a retro issue of 2600 Magazine
• One vintage technical book
